Molly & Chris were married last month at Mary Our Queen. I shot Molly’s sisters wedding back in 2012, so I ran into some familiar faces. After the ceremony I met the wedding party & some of the family at Fox & Hound to relax with drinks and pool. The reception followed at St. John Vianney.
Molly and Chris were laid back, incredibly easy to work with, and had a surprising party streak in them towards the end of the night. Here’s a bunch of my favorites. Congrats again Chris & Molly!
Matt and Verneal were married at Slattery Vintage Estates a month ago. The ceremony was officiated by Matt’s father and attended by close friends and family. Matt & Verneal’s canine friends stepped in as wedding party members. I’m not calling anyone out specifically but this was one of the more well behaved wedding parties I’ve dealt with. 😛
Verneal is a photographer herself and ordinarily that could lead to extra stress on my part, but the afternoon was a lot of fun. Very low key and lots of time to wander the grounds for creative portraits. Here’s some of my favorites from the day. Congrats again Matt & Verneal!
Here’s another engagement session to share! CJ & Aaron met me at Halleck Park in Papillion to wander around and take some engagement photos. The sun was ducking in and out of clouds but it felt like we were managing to stay a step ahead of it. I’m really happy with how these turned out and looking forward to shooting CJ & Aaron’s wedding at the end of this year. Here’s a few of my favorites!
I have what will likely be the last of my own weddings from 2013 to share. Cody & Lindsey were married a little while back at Karen’s Fireside in Papillion, NE. Pictures before the ceremony were down the road at Halleck park where we had lots of fall colors and it was a perfect Nebraska autumn day. Cody & Lindsey have a daughter named Finley who is about the same age as our son Evan. She was pretty adorable and a fun moment from the evening was when Cody & Lindsey fed her the first bite of their wedding cake.
I had a great time at this wedding and it was a good end to my 2013 season. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day Cody & Lindsey, congrats again!
Today I have Pat & Erica’s wedding to share. I photographed Erica’s sister’s wedding a few months back, which makes the pictures of Erica’s brother catching the garter toss particularly entertaining. Hopefully his parents get a quick breather before the next of these events.
