I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding this Fall for Ben Elsass at the Holland Center in downtown Omaha. Fantastic venue, talented live music, and a happy couple that you literally couldn’t catch without a smile on their faces. Thanks again Ben for having me out and congrats Bryan & Michelle! Here’s some of my favorites!
Jim and Abbey got married at Indian Creek golf course in September and had me out to photograph their day. You might remember them from their engagement session back in June. Jim and Abbey are one of those couples that are really easy going and fun to hang out with. That and the fantastic weather we had made for a great outdoor wedding. I stole both of them away from their reception briefly at sunset to grab a few pictures (somewhat rare but I’d encourage future couples to consider it). Here’s some of my favorites from the day!
I had the chance to second shoot a wedding for Anna McClary a while back. The ceremony took place downtown at St. John’s Parish with the reception out at Castle Unicorn. I really enjoyed the second shooting experience, any opportunity to get out and shoot is great and it was a relaxing change of pace to not be responsible for directing things. 😛 If you’re a wedding photographer in the Omaha, NE area and ran across this post, I’d love to second shoot for you!

I shot Michael & Ashley’s wedding a month back at Castle Unicorn, just outside of Glenwood, IA. They had a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding, followed up with a little bit of storm-induced excitement at the tale end of the night. It was pretty hard for me to pick favorites on this one, so it’s another large post. Congratulations again Michael & Ashley and thanks for choosing me to photograph your special day!
For anyone that’s following the posts I make here, you might remember Barry & Lisa from my March engagement posting. We shot their wedding a few weekends back at the DC Centre in Omaha. The weather we ended up with in May wasn’t tooo much warmer than we had for the engagement session in March, but everyone soldiered through outdoor pictures and I’m quite happy with what we got. Here’s a few of my favorites. To give credit where it’s due, my wife Lindsay helped me shoot for the first half of the day and the first picture below is hers! Congrats again Barry and Lisa!
