I don’t do a lot of family sessions but a few weeks ago I met up with Bradey, Jana & Hadley out near Glenwood to take a few photos. I had attended a wedding recently at Bodega Victoriana and thought it would be a fun place to explore. When we contacted them they were gracious enough to let us wander around their grounds for a bit.

We found a lot of nice light and I left Jana & Bradey on the hook for a lot of promises I made to Hadley about Ice Cream in exchange for smiles. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Jordyn & John’s wedding | Ulysses & Seward | Omaha Wedding Photographers

Here’s Jordyn & John’s wedding! Jordyn & John were married at the Immaculate Conception Church in Ulysses NE. The reception was held at Harvest Hall in Seward NE. Some things that stand out to me from this wedding; Jordyn basically smiling nonstop through the entire day. The hug between Jordyn and her dad after walking down the aisle. The wedding party bus down gravel roads, driven by an elderly gentlemen in a manner conservatively described as vigorous. Ice cream sundaes instead of cake. Sunset portraits in a field.

Jake & Natalie’s Wedding | Grand Manse Lincoln NE

Jake and Natalie were married at Christ Lutheran in Lincoln NE earlier this summer. After the ceremony we headed to the sunken gardens for portraits of the two of them, then continued to the Grand Manse for the evening’s end.

Some of my favorite things from this set, Natalie and her dad sharing a moment before heading up to the chapel. Natalie’s dad’s vintage car he brought along for photos. Lots of sunshine at Sunken Gardens, lots of moments at the Grand Manse.

Jenn & Zach’s Wedding | Elmwood Park | Living Room

Today I have Jenn & Zach’s wedding to share! Their ceremony was at the Elmwood park grotto, and the reception was at the Living Room downtown. I’ve known Jenn since college and was excited to get to spend the day with them. Some of my favorite things about this set, Zach & Taylor’s reactions to Jenn coming down the aisle. Jenn & her daughter sharing a moment after the ceremony. A couple portraits at the end of the night with late day sun from inside the reception hall.

Amy & Chad’s Wedding | Paxton Ballroom | St Cecilia | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Here’s another great wedding to share! Amy & Chad were married this summer at St. Cecilia. After the ceremony we took a trip out to Amy’s parents farm for wedding party photos, then back downtown to the Paxton Ballroom to close the night out.

Some of my favorite things from this set. Amy & Chad’s first look and gift exchange, a few quick creative portraits in the gorgeous church, finding some great light at Amy’s farm for portraits, catching candids of family members during the slideshow at the reception.
