Here’s another engagement session! I met Sally & Nick at Mahoney park a while back. We started out with a pretty dreary day but things really cleared up about halfway through. We ended up catching a lot of really nice late day sun and a pretty gorgeous sunset. Here’s some of my favorites!
I have what will likely be the last of my own weddings from 2013 to share. Cody & Lindsey were married a little while back at Karen’s Fireside in Papillion, NE. Pictures before the ceremony were down the road at Halleck park where we had lots of fall colors and it was a perfect Nebraska autumn day. Cody & Lindsey have a daughter named Finley who is about the same age as our son Evan. She was pretty adorable and a fun moment from the evening was when Cody & Lindsey fed her the first bite of their wedding cake.
I had a great time at this wedding and it was a good end to my 2013 season. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day Cody & Lindsey, congrats again!
Most of what I share here is wedding related, but every so often I’m asked to do a newborn session. I’ll be the first to admit that traditional newborn photography isn’t my strong suit. I’m really not any good at bundling babies into knitted sacks or baskets. What I do enjoy is showing a new family in their own environment. A week ago the Tillers had me over to their home to photograph baby Titus. Here’s a few of my favorites from hanging out with the three of them.
I met up with Molly & Chris a week ago to shoot some engagement pictures for them. We had beautiful weather and I think we hit fall colors pretty much at their peak. I shot Molly’s sister’s wedding back a year ago and I’m looking forward to shooting Molly & Chris’s wedding this coming May. Here’s some of my favorites from the session!
Today I have Pat & Erica’s wedding to share. I photographed Erica’s sister’s wedding a few months back, which makes the pictures of Erica’s brother catching the garter toss particularly entertaining. Hopefully his parents get a quick breather before the next of these events.
Pat & Erica held their ceremony at St. Wenceslaus Church in west Omaha. The reception was at Tiburon golf club immediately following. Here’s a bunch of my favorites from the day, congrats again Pat & Erica!
