Maternity photos! I shot Sierra & Ben’s wedding about a year and a half ago…a few weeks back we met up again to document their expanding family. There were a lot of laughs, a lot of me being awkward, a lot of good light, and honestly a whole lot of sweating. Here’s some of my favorites.
I don’t do a lot of family sessions but a few weeks ago I met up with Bradey, Jana & Hadley out near Glenwood to take a few photos. I had attended a wedding recently at Bodega Victoriana and thought it would be a fun place to explore. When we contacted them they were gracious enough to let us wander around their grounds for a bit.
We found a lot of nice light and I left Jana & Bradey on the hook for a lot of promises I made to Hadley about Ice Cream in exchange for smiles. Here’s a few of my favorites.
I met up with Stephanie & Pete a week ago to shoot some maternity photos for them. Stephanie is a really great photographer out of Lincoln (Cleo Creative). The two of them were extremely easy to photograph, largely entertained each other and agreed to me dragging them all over the park without complaint. Here’s some of my favorites!
Most of what I share here is wedding related, but every so often I’m asked to do a newborn session. I’ll be the first to admit that traditional newborn photography isn’t my strong suit. I’m really not any good at bundling babies into knitted sacks or baskets. What I do enjoy is showing a new family in their own environment. A week ago the Tillers had me over to their home to photograph baby Titus. Here’s a few of my favorites from hanging out with the three of them.
Lindsay and I went to visit Nate, Megan and their new baby Lou last Sunday. I had just finished back to back weddings Friday & Saturday and it was really fun to relax and do some casual, low-key environmental portraits of Nate & Megan’s new family. Here’s some of my favorites!
